Welcome to Moure Design Studio: Where We Think Differently About Home

MDS In Process

July 26, 2026

Over the last few months, I’ve been building MoureDesignStudio.com. While it may be a website on the surface, I’ve always pictured it as something a little more unique. A place to share deeper thoughts on design, behind-the-scenes project updates, and the conversations that deserve more than a 60 second reel.

As much as I love creating videos, I’ve found myself missing something.

Writing gives us room to think. It lets us explore ideas without rushing to a conclusion or trying to hold someone’s attention through quick cuts and trending audio. It’s where thoughts have space to develop, where conversations can go a little deeper, and where the goal isn’t simply to be watched but to be understood.

And this is how I feel about design too.

The rooms we love aren’t created because someone copied a photo they found online. They’re built through layers of decisions. The color palette influences the materials. The furniture affects how you move through a room. The lighting changes how everything feels. Good design isn’t one big decision that can be made quickly. It’s a number of small ones working together.

Those ideas deserve more than a minute.

A short video can inspire you or introduce a concept, but understanding why something works takes a little more time. Applying it to your own home likely takes even longer. Sometimes we need a place that’s a little quieter than the endless scroll, where we can slow down, explore an idea from different angles, and have real conversations about creating homes that feel like ours: thoughtful, and built for real life.

That’s what I hope MDS.com becomes.

A place to explore design and education, behind-the-scenes projects, thoughtful product recommendations and the ideas that don’t fit neatly into social media. More than anything, I hope it becomes a place where people who love thoughtful functional homes can learn from one another, ask questions, share perspectives, and leave seeing their own homes a little differently than when they arrived.

I’m so glad you’re here.
